Dedicated to my friend, Jackie, who passed away last night. She is sitting behind me in this photo. This is our group that gathers every other month or so. We've known each other about 25 years. I have a few of these Christmas group shots, since we tend to have the Christmas gathering at our house. Jackie has been in ICU the last few weeks. We are so very thankful that our group met just a few days before she became ill. She has been wheelchair bound as long as I've known her and she has brought a great deal to everyone who knew her. We know she is in Heaven now. She will be dearly missed.
Oh, I am so sorry, Danette. My sincere sympathies. Hugs! How wonderful you and your long time friends were able to stay together through all those years.
I am sorry to hear of the loss of your friend! I am amazed that you have stayed closed for all those years! It brings a joy to my heart to know that today Jackie is no longer wheelchair bound. I Can Only Imagine! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRPGRdbGHSs
@skipt07 interesting you would choose that song...yesterday, they held a worship time in her room and that was one of the last songs they sang. Her daughter says she is dancing in heaven.
Wonderful you were able to cherish your friend and spend time together. So true, life is but a instant if we don't stop to spend time with the one's we love. And yes, Heaven is a wonderful place, filled with glory and grace!
