Photo 162
Red, red rose.
For today's word: Deep Red.
Red to me will always be represented by the Rose.
They are such iconic flowers both beautiful and deadly in that they have the beauty of the flower and the harshness of the stem with their thorns.

I'm not a spectacular photographer and never will be, but each photo i take evokes a feeling that can be remembered with just one view...

Good drama in your shot but do you know I've never thought of roses as deadly - maybe I've just been careful not to have any close encounters with the thorns! Nice to include the greenery for contrast.

maybe deadly was too strong a word! It's amazing how beautiful a rose can be - yet you have to handle them so carefully!

Well I guess it would feel deadly if you got one of those thorns buried in your hand!
