Dudley Castle and Dudley Zoo go hand in hand when you visit. To get to the castle, you have to go through the zoo as it sits smack bang in the middle of the zoo's grounds.
Obviously there are plenty of photo taking opportunities and always worth revisiting time and time again, easy enough for me, as it's literally a 5 minute drive from the house. It's nice this time of year as the kids are back at school and there is hardly anyone around. Nice for a mosey around and while away the afternoon!
Oh...he's so cute. What a great capture. Love seeing his little flippers in the water. Lucky you for living so close. Hoping to take the grand kids to the Portland Zoo (about 1 hour drive) next Sunday, if the weather is not stormy. There was a new baby elephant born this spring, which I have not seen yet, so hoping to catch and glimpse and photo.
