As some of you know, I'm an omnivore. I have a friend who is doing an online Facebook event from May 1-15 called Spring into the RAW. You can join too! https://www.facebook.com/events/151995231862259/?ti=cl Here is my breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
@graemestevens the first two delish, the third, I liked the "rice pilaf" (riced cauliflower, avocado and herbs), but the mushrooms rt all really would be delicious cooked. RAW is a bit hard to keep up with! But the veggies and Nutrition excellent.
@grammyn haha, I didn't even think of that! Good one. I really loved the food, and it's pretty, but tonight I just wished I had sauteed the veggies. Raw "cooking" actually sort of hurts my tummy. So I think I'll stick to veggie life for the 15 days, but I'll opt to heat if I feel like it's going to be unappetizing. I was shocked at some as they sounded bag on paper but were super delicious in reality!
The image is lovely and I do like a lot of raw food. But I couldn't and wouldn't want to eat only raw. I guess I could do it for 15 days though. Keep up the good work!
@jamibann I am the same. I am blown away by some recipes I would have never considered, and because I cook so much, I know how I would and will convert lots of these recipes into cooked versions another time. The dinner last night really needed to be sautéed. Except for the middle "pilaf"
