For her class, my daughter had to demonstrate cooking a Japanese dish and we made this video together. I have a very small part of the end and I mispronounced the word for tasty (I even knew I mispronounced it--that's something right?). But we were tired of doing retakes. The dish is absolutely delicious and I would recommend it for anyone. I will get a link to the recipe when my daughter returns from school. She leaves for Okinawa and a little over a month. Time is flying and she has so many things to look forward to.
Oh and it was fun to use the kitchen for the demonstration! Check out the framed photo at the end! It's my own :)
@maggiemae I will get the recipe. It worked exactly as instructed, so the video was easier to make than something that would require too much precision. So yummy too! Mostly chicken, eggs, onion, broth, shitake mushrooms, with some water, Mirin, sugar, and soy sauce. All ingredients easy to find (and Mirin is not even necessary).
Well done. She did an excellent job and so did you both in front of and behind the camera. Only you and Other Japanese speakers would know you mispronounced a word.
