The Bassist (Who Only Sought the Shadows) Finally Caught in a Second of Light

He was very photogenic. The lighting was horrible. I used my 35mm 1.4 lens (Sigma) and took a swing at concert photography. I really liked this one for its overall comp. The bassist preferred to stand just behind the spotlight, which made it very hard to get a shot of him, but every so often, he'd move forward on the stage some. The wall in the venue provided a nice backdrop. This is my childhood friend's band and he asked me to come take some shots! I took hundreds (like sport photography, there are so many duds to dump before finding the few shots you want to spend time processing).
