My first "Crappy Dinner Party"

I broke rule 1 slightly. One guest brought flowers, but otherwise, we navigated around the mess, the random clothes on the floor, the snack bowl in its fourth day of never being thrown out, the trash piles in corners and the dog hair. Menu super easy.

And in true form, my teens had a nasty argument right beforehand.

I love the idea of focusing on being together and eating whatever -- but eating at Daryl's is never entirely just "eating whatever" so I'd be good with dropping in on you any time and knowing I'd have a good meal. And we have the same dishes!
