@taffy home. Made dinner tonight and made these at same time. Sort of crazy since I don’t have time for stuff like this but I wanted to make a present for my neighbors who will care for our dog over the next few weeks.
@888rachel Yes! I recently found a recipe that is so easy to follow, it was done in less than 15 minutes. The beets are raw, then covered with a vinegar, ginger, pepper, garlic, sugar, water, salt boiled mixture. The beets remain crisp and are usable for weeks! They go on everything--I'm using them like pickles on burgers and as sides or appetizers with cheeses.
@grammyn Was actually trying to figure out why my focus on my phone is so bad--ugh! I used an app to hide the problem, but I could not get my phone to work in a macro mode. It is still chaos here, but not as much as a few days ago.
