What might be my home town's attempt at the Monstrous Carbuncle Award for Crap Architecture. Dolphin Quays in Poole, England is a 'luxury' complex of apartments and 'quality' shops. Designed to attract the well-healed punter to a town otherwise on it's uppers. But before you whip out your cheque book, the apartments on the left overlook pubs, a fish-and-chip shop and a whelk stall. Shot on wide angle so a bit of distortion which I've left uncorrected as the bulldozers should deal with the place eventually anyway.
I certainly wouldn't call this building beautiful, it works as a B&W. You captured the detail perfectly from this angle. Would I pull out my check book? Certainly not. I would invest in one of your historical building rich in character and history.
