Track To Nowhere

I've been doing an adult learning course on photography since September 15 and this term we've been given a heap of projects the first of which is 'Man's influence on the landscape'. I was out and about today, looking for potential sites when I came upon an old (and very short) rail track once used to ferry coal from the dockyard to a power station. I've given it the b/w treatment and it I feels like it's grown an air of menace and mystery.
Love the lines, contrast and impact--fave!

Great mono shot, love the smooth sky with the gritty foreground
