The archytypal Green Man figure found in a lot of old churches and bulidings in Europe represents the cycle of growth and decay. This is a wall plaque that has been exposed to the weather for a number of years and is slowly breaking down. I used my new Lensbaby to capture him. It is quite a beast to get in focus and though the eyes are 'out' I think the bokeh effect adds to the sense of mystery of this character.
