I watched the Mayor's State of the City speech on my laptop tonight, streaming live from Symphony Hall. He told us how well the city is doing, which I know from my own experience, and he said we are going to fight together for our values, which made me feel really good about living in Boston.
I've lived here over thirty years, and the city has been getting more livable and vibrant all through the years. Before I retired, I thought I wanted to move to Maine, where we go in the summer, but since retiring, I'm having such a good time in Boston, I'm not so sure about moving. If only we could have a summer place too...
