Snowy Day in March by deborahsimmerman

Snowy Day in March

Our storm was a disappointment, not nearly as much snow as predicted as recently as last night. The storm took a track further west, so central and western Massachusetts got the most snow, and the temperature was a little higher on the coast, so our snow turned to rain at the end of the afternoon. Still, it was wild out there with wind gusts as high as 55 mph; I certainly wouldn't have wanted to go outside. These are views from our left and right living room windows.

We got some really useful work done in the back room in the morning. It's like an archaeological dig going into the piles of paper. In my last years of work I was overwhelmed with busyness and let the paper pile up. I was able to recycle much of what I looked at today but did find a few important items, including photos, mixed in.

Today's choice of tea cup is a favorite Haviland Limoges one, very delicate. It was nice to lie under blankets on my chaise longue at tea time while the wind and snow and rain raged outside our windows.
A lovely set of pictures Deborah and I do love that teacup and saucer. It sounds like you had a nice day.
