I've missed most of spring and summer due to arthritic pain or recovery from surgery. Today was a beautiful summer day so after my haircut I drove myself to a little local park and walked the paths. I forgot my cane at work so I was a bit worried about over-doing it but I reached 9,000 steps today. The first time since May 11. I will probably ache while trying to sleep tonight but it was worth it. Much needed.
