I phone 4s question

I just got my phone on Monday and I want to start uploading my pics from my phone. But how do I find the date my pic was taken? I can't find it.

I have a 4s and when I download to 365 or my computer it just shows up.

@bristolrose Hmmm when I upload it says May 1st..maybe there is something I have to turn on or something...do u use an app to take pictures?

If you have edited your photo in an app on your phone it might not save the EXIF data. If I upload directly without editing in an app the data remains intact. The last two images that I posted are directly from my phone then any editing was done in picmonkey. The image data is all there. May 10th image was edited on my phone and uploaded and it has no EXIF data.

@k1w1 I am trying to upload unedited and without an app just straight from my phone and it always goes to may 1st... Not sure what I am doing wrong

@k1w1 also it is not showing that its from an iphone...idk if there is a setting that i have blocked maybe. but i just tried downloading to my dropbox and it gives me the date. So that is how I will have to do it :)

Not sure of any settings. I just snap and upload without dropbox. Hope you find what ever it is. Good luck.

@mistyhammond You can just enter the date manually when you go to save and my phone does this but randomly as most of the time it does it fine and others it doesn't.

When I upload from my phone, it always defaults to the 1st of whatever month it is! I just change the date.

Mine I phone 4 S did not do that...so cannot help! Sorry!

Thanks everyone! I am using Dropbox for the date. I also have one picture that it won't let me organize and that was with my old phone so much easier with my new phone to upload.
