I have a picture nearly identical to the boiled eggs picture. Mine were deviled eggs so the center is different. Neat pics.

There's a challenge for you Paul. Can you recreate the coffee shot?

Fantastic. Yes, how were they done?

Well I'd like to try the ice cream shots.... I like ice cream so could eat the mess before it got too out of control. Like dh @dh I want to see what Paul posts for a coffee shot or even for the canned soup :)

Brilliant. Mind boggles at how some of them were done though - bet there was a whole lot of mess before they got them just right!

I think the coffee shot was done with gelatin. I did it with liquids when I was a chef to create colourful decorations for desserts and such. The trick is to double the amount of gelatin normally used for the amount of liquid you are using and to use very cold liquids. You have to melt the gelatin first in a small amount of warm water then mix it quickly with the liquids you want to use. After pouring them into whatever moulds you want put them in the freezer for a few minutes to speed up the setting. Hope this helps if anyone wants to give it ago
