Wow! Never heard of a tidal bore. Weird how a lot of the Chinese people were smiling like they were enjoying being swept away and possibly drowned by the waves.
as a non-risk-taker you will never find me within a hundred miles of one of these. it's hard for me to grasp the fact that people are intentionally in the path of what seems to be a pretty destructive force....
Such an interesting phenomenon, but I don't think I'd be standing that close to the place where one of them comes roaring in unless I was absolutely certain I was out of harms way!
