I love the first one. It's so melodramatic

and the last one is great the way the The Queen (then Princess) is so unconcerned for the woman

LOL I wonder how long they leave them there before someone gets them.My fave is the one where he is caught in mid-fall, and the one where the Queen 'looks on in concern' and looks as she keeps on walking!!!

I wonder if they're told just to leave them...certainley seems that way, although pictures of course only portray a split second

They all look like they’ve hit the pavement face first. That has to hurt!

I went to an Army Change Of Command and I passed out during it. The whole thing came to a screeching halt. I woke up to Army guys carrying me into an air conditioned building.

I would have died of embarrasment if someone took a photo of me when that happened!

Having served, I can tell you that this is MUCH more common than one would expect. I've seen guys fall - literally - flat on their faces and break noses and cheekbones even!

And it doesn't matter who your are, I have seen the toughest of guys drop, thankfully I never did myself.

Sadly it's hilarious but only in the sense that everyone else is being so stiff about it. It's the contrast that makes it amazing/funny.

I feel so bad for them though! being one that does tend to go rigid straight after a blood test, complete with open eyes and everything.

It is quite a common phenomenon. I nearly passed out on parade once when I was younger and in the Army. I'd finished drinking with my mates about 30-mins prior to forming up and we were all quite drunk. Even though I managed to stay upright, I did vomit in my mouth a little bit. I'm sure the majority of passing-outerers aren't under the influence, though.

Imagine if they weren't just fainting and suffering something more life threatening , scary how everyone just keeps doing what they are doing
