O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
“The mountains were his masters. They rimmed in life. They were the cup of reality, beyond growth, beyond struggle and death. They were his absolute unity in the midst of eternal change.”
― Thomas Wolfe, Look Homeward, Angel
Thank you all for the great quotes. Thank you, too, in case I missed your name on the reply buttons.
There are three or four quotes that would work with this photo, the Tolkien, Buddha and Ingersoll work the best for me. Not to say that any of the other quotes wouldn't work. Photography is such an individual activity and time plays such a part, that all the quotes would work at some point in time.
Thank you all.
