Trying to come up with something to get that offensive stuff off of the sidebar. On another note, it seems I've seen lots of pet pictures. Are photographers cat lovers, dog lovers, or are pets just easy subjects?
The only pet I have is my son lol he enough.. I am not an animal person, but saying that I do enjoy, looking at the photos that people up load of their furry friends.
I LOVE both cats and dogs. I think cats are so beautiful and have amazing personalities but I am allergic to them so I don't have one. I have a dog but she is definitely not an easy subject. She is a 2 year old bichon. She rarely stays still and moves so fast it is hard to even get an action shot. Sometimes I feel like she purposely lets me get close and then at the last second runs away or turns just before I can take an exposure. She can be a sassy little thing but she's cute and otherwise a joy and when I can get pictures of her, I almost always post them.
cats in this house. i even tag all my cat photos with scm_cats... i find they're not quite as horrified when i point the camera at them. people can get a little wonky about having their picture taken.
Personally, I think it's both. I am an animal lover (I only have cats at this time, but I love most dogs too) and with my cats at least, they're always super easy to photograph. Pretty much always, they're being cute, have just done something cute, or will do something cute if I wait long enough. If I let myself, every single picture could be of them.
Cat lover here! I haven't actually included a picture of my own cat yet, but I think she'll make a good backup subject if I don't find anything else to photograph on a given day. So far I've been away and then we've had crazy weather, so I've always had plenty to shoot. As things get more boring I'm sure we'll be seeing more of my cat and horse, LOL
Both :) but I lean towards cats a little more. We have three cats at home and one dog so it makes for quite the full household and a variety of animal subjects.
