@faeriequeen Just had a look at your shots - both Raglan castle and Neath Abbey I've passed hundreds of times, but either I don't have my camera, or the weather's shocking, or we're in a rush! They're both (still) on my list of places to go! And when I saw your Tintern Abbey I thought it was Llanthony Abbey (if you've not been there, it's worth a visit with a camera).
@lluniau Well, Raglan and Neath really are worth the time, they're beautiful so, yeah, keep those on the list. :-) No, I've not been there, but thank you, I've just had a google search and that's somewhere I definitely want to go now! I'll remember my camera! ;-)
@lluniau Sounds fabulous! I've just taken a look and, how weird, I'd already favourited the first of the three, but I've just done the other two. Fabulous!!! What processing did you use... such an amazing fantasy feel!! :-)
@paintedpilgrim Ah, one of my faves :-) @judithdeacon This looks suspiciously like the same castle (not the same photograph, obviously) that I have as my laptop screensaver!! :-) @judithdeacon This is one I've been wanting to visit for a very long time! Thank you! :-) @rrt This one is breathtaking, thank you for sharing. Gonna have to make it a fav :-)
@archaeofrog Yes, I've been to Prague, the castle is stunning! :-) @ashleycampbell9 Edinburgh Castle... I agree, I MUST go back, too. Amazing castle - phenomenal! Thank you :-)
@faeriequeen So jealous!!! Prague is on my top next destination to go! I did a study abroad trip in London for a month and visited several other countries, but did not make it to Prague. I so regret that!!
@ashleycampbell9 Prague is fantastic... I will find a reason to go back! ;-) Also, Germany... I went on a music trip down the Rhine. The castles along there are so beautiful. Well worth it! :-)
Neuschwanstein Germany 2006
This thread reminded me of all the cool pics I have hidden away from my trip to Germany back in 2006. Time to give them all a bit of a touch up I think :)
@ashleycampbell9 Prague is awesome for photography, so much to see, and it is one of the older cities in that part of Europe, as it was missed by much of the bombings of the wars. Highly, highly recommend.
Not a real castle but I always thought it looked like one
@mcdougall Haha... That is epic.

Not a lot of castles here in the day-to-day of Wisconsin ... sigh.

It's actually a cement factory. I think the funky yellow color and the flag on the top make it very castle-like
