@pocketmouse I love lightning shots too! Our storm season will start in a couple months! I can't wait for some lightning...will be the first since I got my camera! :)
Not a perfect shot by any means, this is a shot of the lightning strike that 'fried' my modem! If I had had space under the eaves it would have been better to set up a tripod and 30 sec exposure, but I was doing my best to keep the camera dry. As @pocketmouse mentioned, you need a lot of patience.
