What's With The Highlighted Words

I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but today I started seeing highlighted words inblue in almost every post. When you go over the word with your cursor you get a pop up. It is really annoying.

I would guess browser add on... like Google or Ask...

I had that a while ago, you have to go and disable your add-ons....I can't ela borate at the moment but I will later.....it is malware that somehow got added on your comp

I had the same problem - but have now followed @shadesofgrey 's advice - disabled all add-ons that I didn't know what they were for (!!) and so far, so good! Thanks for raising this, @digitalrn , it was driving me insane. I had already run anti malware but the problem kept coming back.

Later ... as soon as I re-enabled the Shockwave Flash add-on so that I could upload a pic, the faux links were back! There must be a solution to this!!!

I disabled most of my add-ons, and did a scan, and now the problem seems to have resolved itself. Thanks everyone for the feedback. Issuye closed.
