There was an Easter egg hunt today at the church I attend. There were 23 kids that came to have a good time, not only collecting eggs, but eating sandwiches, and cookies, and most of all hearing again the reason of the Easter season. This little girl is Emma, she is the third child of four in this great family. She was born with no eyes. She goes to a regular school (with help of course) and is actually an inspiration to all that know and talk with her. She is just a delight to be around and hear how she talks about things.
oh bless her heart....this really does make you count your blessings. The problems we have in our lives are nothing compared to what this girl will go through in her life. We are all very lucky....and you posting this on a photography website certainly does make it hit home clearly. Thank you for posting this Richard
Oh, the message really strikes a nerve. We know we take some things for granted, but what we don't realize is no matter how many problems we have, we are still taking many more things for granted as a God given right!...Like we just all have it and that is that. That is one sense (sight) that is scary to even talk about not having. Bless her heart.
