The wedding photo is beautiful even without the moon, but I can see what you were going for...that would've been a dream shot! I took photos of the cloudy sky which was bright than usual, since the clouds were backlit by the super moon..cool in theory, but I just got a grainy mess. :-)
Got rubbish shots of the moon last night and posted this:
but tried again tonight and was happy with the result....although not the true thing being a day late :(
i arrived at the lake and found there was a thin film of clouds but i still waited. the forecast was 25 minutes early so i went around the docks and got this photo. when i was leaving that's when i saw the moon rose out of the lake waters but there's going to be another moon rise, i suppose:
@onie Now that you mention it....the golfball does look a bit like the super moon...I thought you were referring to the sand and comparing it to the surface of the moon....
Had to work so snuck this sunset in before I started, plus I gave my camera to my sister as she needed to use it for team photos the next day. Did attempt the full moon after work Sunday when I got it back
Had I known we would witness a supermoon I would have refused to go running and sat on the beach instead!
Unfortunately we weren't running together when it was at its most impressive.
but tried again tonight and was happy with the result....although not the true thing being a day late :(
Thank you Shades, I do admit to a little pride in this one. I wanted the sand flying, plus the ball in flight. I got it, I'm happy.
