When I first joined the 365 Project community in May last year I never imagined that I would enter photo competitions. (The first competition I entered I won. The prize was $1,000 and with my winnings I purchased a macro lens.)
For those people living in Australia you may have started watching Photo Finish which airs on ABC on Thursday night. Each weekend they run a competition based on the theme of the show that aired the previous Thursday night. The winner of the weekend competition has their photo used as the photo to promote the show for the following week.
The theme for this weekend just gone was landscape and I decided to enter. Although my photo didn't win the main prize I was one of 16 photos chosen to appear on their site.
I am very overwhelmed that my photo was choses as the other photos are simply stunning. I wouldn't normally post something about myself like this but the show is fantastic and so are the weekend challenges. I wanted to share this as other 365ers might like to become involved. @pizzaboy - hi Mick, I am seriously thinking about entering the main competition. I have a couple of ideas that I am playing with. Are you going to enter?
@kimgrowsup - thank you Kim, I am very grateful for your continued support. If you do have time try to watch it online. The show is only half an hour but provides so good advice.
I entered too. I'm so pleased someone from 365Project got up there :)
@traeumerlein87 @bdb3471 @victorypuzzle @ltodd @kareen @snipsnap @newbie @amandalomonaco @dianneh @sewsharyn @nikkic @dell365 - the best thing about the 365 project is the wonderful support you receive from fellow members who produce the most amazing photos. Thank you so very much for your support and encouragement, it really does mean so much to me.
