We found these huge nests at the lake this weekend, and I took some photos of the birds. We think they are juvenile golden eagles but not positive. If anyone is more knowledgable about birds, I'd love to get your opinion as to what they are!!
Great shot, i love the lighting through the feathers. I think your shot is of a female, with the darker "necklace" on her breast. If you saw a pair of them, the female is likely the larger of the two.
Ospreys are amazing! I don't have a camera to take pictures like these but we were birdwatching recently and saw one carrying dinner to a nest- two times! First time- a snake!! Second time- a fish. Absolutely awesome!
