I started in July 2012 with what became a series of a bird's nest and a baby bird. I did not really intend to create a series, but it was such a compelling subject right outside my window that it became a series:
@nadaa Very cool. I once was working in a city building and they were building a higher building next door. I watched this thing for around a year or so being built. I wish I had of photographed its progress as it was really interesting.
@beachradish - immediately thought of you and your get pushed selfie challenge when I saw this thread. Please add it, I just loved how you did the challenge and how all your followers eagerly awaited the final shot.
@agima Haha yeah! I study medicine in Sydney and I was doing a month-long rural placement in Crookwell (such a quaint and tiny place!), and decided to whip down to Canberra for a weekend :)
In the first month of my project I did a series named Things left behind I-IV
But then later on I figured I like taking nature shots including unwanted left behind objects and put this tag on them as a I continued the series tag-dnp
I have an ongoing theme with my Robots and I try to have a theme for each month::
Jan = Random (I had only just started)
Feb = Straight Lines
Mar = Round Things
Apr = Nature
May = Album Covers
Jun = Playground Games
Jul = Film Titles
Aug = TWIT (Take What I Take as I am on holiday)
Sep = ???
My entire project revolves around a single subject. A small aqua colored bottle. It doesn't really tell a story but I have put myself to the challenge of photographing the same subject 365 times and try to keep it as interesting as possible. I floundered some the last couple months but have found some extra resolve and have been taking new bottle photos.
Here are a few of my favs.
I will defiantly be following your project and story.

I have that issue every time I forget my camera at home. I see photo opportunities lost at every turn.
contemplating the caramilk secret
a grim foreshadowing
a tragic misunderstanding
revenge of the killer chicks
the empire strikes back
unexpected expect you must
Mainly because its my home town... I assume you were here on holidays
