So, I tried zooming. If you're familiar with Eddie Izzard, "is this good squeezy, squeezy, or bad squeezy, squeezy"? Seriously, any critical comments welcome. What are the best settings for zooming (how long is a piece of string)? Do you have any of your own zooming photos you can share, and the technique you used?
I find that doing something with bold color helps for the composition. I use a tripod (usually), a darker room because with the long exposure you sometimes get your object looking like a ghost instead of an abstract.
@webfoot Paul - hand held, wow, I assumed the shutter speed was so low you would have to use a tripod or stand - but I guess as you are going to blur it anyway with the zoom, it is not that important?
