I just started on a cross country road trip/photography project a few days ago. My intention is to travel from the east coast to the west coast, down the coast of CA, and then back east through the south, couchsurfing with strangers mostly, and photographing it all.
Would love feedback, or if simply just interested in following here is the blog i am keeping:
Ohhhh, you are so blessed to be able to do this. I can't wait for retirement so we can head out on the open road! I live in Eastern Washington, so If you want info on places to see in Oregon Washinton and Idaho let me know and I will get some info together for you.
One thing I do when 'on the road' is take pictures of signs - particularly ones that contain the name of the location. It is an effective way of labelling 'in camera' where a group of pics were taken. I also use them in my photobooks/albums as a page header.
