I really like looking at the monthly thumbnail views, I always have. My three fav months of my own are May, June and July with my utmost favourite monthly view being June or July. For the sake of pickng just one I went with July.
June and july for me were really good photographic months with a couple of night shoots camping by the coast and visits to loads of places new and old as well as a birthday and a visit from family to boot.
So go on be self indulgent with me and give us the link for your favourite month and if you are so inclined please share with us why for.
I love the thumbnail views too, especially other peoples views where they've done one of those great challenges that makes the monthly view look great... I think I need to do one of those as having looked through my own photos month by month, there isn't one I like as I always have a few bad photos in there that spoil it for me! Perhaps I should aim for a good thumbnail month before in October!
My fav month has been August so far. My son was off school and we got out and about quite a bit, so I have a variety of shots and they all remind me of the summer we spent together even though he is only in one photo, as he is not a big fan of being in front of the camera! http://365project.org/nancyperry/365/2012-08
I think my favorite month is July from my First Year album. It led to my video completing 365 and during that month I had 5 pics in Top 20 including a #1 and 522 Favs for the month with 9 different pics getting over 20 Favs each:
oh,this was a good idea, had a look through and from a memory point of view it has to be april 2011, it only has 4 photos because i 'd done 365 and was having a break but those 4 photos were so special to me. http://365project.org/mrmilner/365/2011-04
I'm going to say January 2011. It was my first month doing the 365 challenge, so everything was still new and exciting. Besides, I'll never create another "masterpiece" like the ham bone. http://365project.org/mej2011/365/2011-01
I'm tied with January and February. Tried lots of new stuff, made it to the T20 3 times (nothing before or since) and I was wrapping up my project. You made me look back and I can remember almost exactly what I was doing each day! http://365project.org/shutterbugger/365/2012-01
I'm going to go with this past June. I went camping that month, so it has a week of gorgeous landscapes, plus I have several selfies when I tried to do a selfie a day. My favorite food photo is in that month as well. http://365project.org/webfoot/2012-in-picture/2012-06
I do like the calendar view, and I will choose this current month of September because I deliberately chose 7 shots of the Goroka Festival to appear in a row. Also because of the retrospective nature of my year 2 project, I had to narrow 4,950 photographs down to the final 30 you see here. That took some culling. http://365project.org/bobfoto/365/2012-09
Oh and for the same reason, back in April, The Seven posed very similarly for a week of selfies which look ubercool on the calendar view. http://365project.org/theseven/365/2012-04
@ayearinthelifeof Wow, thanks. It's been quite hard work, getting back into photographic shape so to speak. Things were much simpler with a manual film camera, but it's starting to feel more natural now that I'm more conversant with the hard and software. @bobfoto The Goroka Festival line is fantastic; same goes for the Pan's labyrinth mini-series. That was going on when I arrived here and prompted me to start following The Seven.
@automaticslim - Hey thanks Slim, I remember your comments regarding The Seven week. We tried another week once before where we were all jumping but I think we started on the wrong day and at the end of the month for it to be really effective.

I think I've worked out how to do it. I think this was my favourite month due to seeing so many nice birds and nature at it's best
