Corinne (@scuffer) whom I honnestly don't follow but left a comment on one of my picture - so I went to look at her pictures posted this one .
She lost her baby today and tag this picture for "theme-support".
So far it has many views but only 2 comments, mine included and I'm not good at all for finding the right words and even more in English.
Please show Corinne and her family how 365 is a supportive community. We love pictures, we talk pictures but we do support each other in all griefs too.
@parisouailleurs Nice gesture, Helene. Bien fait - c'est difficile de trouver de mots en aucune langue. (Apologies for my bad french and lack of punctuation) :)
St. Christopher sits in our garden. Underneath this is buried, in a plastic bag, pictures of those we have loved and lost. We see it every day and there is no day that goes by when I don't remember their lives.
Once a year on Dia De Los Muertos, the day of the dead, we celebrate the lives of those who have passed. It is a happy time, not sad at all. I send virtual hugs. You are not alone. Give yourself time to mourn fully and then celebrate the gift of the life you and your child shared together.
Excellente suggestion Hélène, ce nest peut etre qu'une petite "communauté photographique", mais on peut trouver du réconfort partout et de manières tellement différentes....
@parisouailleurs Helene, I've just been looking at photos on this project website as I find it a soothing thing to do and then spotted this discussion. Thank you so much for your kindness and beautiful words. x
This is so sweet and thoughtful of you, Helene. Thank you for letting us know about Corrine and giving us the opportunity to extend our condolences and support.
Helene, this is a beautiful gesture and definitely one of the best features of the 365 community.
I wanted to share this picture with Corinne @scuffer I took it the day my father died and I hope it brings you some comfort as it did me. My heartfelt prayers and thoughts go out to you at this time of loss.
I know I am well over a year late in reading this post, and I apologize, but I also know the pain and need for support doesn't go away. @scuffer - my thoughts are with you today. @parisouailleurs - love your kind heart, mon amie.
