I signed up for a group to walk around the DC Capitol. Am really looking forward to this photo adventure. The group I signed up for is filled, but I see there are now four groups and two have lots of openings. Most of them are doing the WWII/Lincoln Memorial area.
It is not to late to find a group in your city/location:
Please post here if you have joined a group and where you are shooting on Saturday! Then after, we can start a thread of our International Photo Walk photos!
There's one here, but my husband has plans that night. It would mean getting a babysitter. And driving an hour or more to the location. Meeting with strangers. To shoot in the dark. By a desolate lake. I'm just afraid I might not come back. Too many red flags! ;)
@swguevin Wow, that's a great idea. I am for sure a Kelby fan and this is again one of his good products. I think for me it will be next year, because I have a 365 meet&photograph event next Friday! But have fun and share your experiences with us!
Just so you know, it's worth doing one of these walks. Last year Adobe was the sponsor and after the walk they offered LR3 for $99 to all walk particpants. I believe they are sponsoring it again this year. You have to be signed up for the walk to be included in any offers they may give later. Besides, It's a fun thing to do and everyone can upload one picture from the walk to try to win things in the group, too.
Las Vegas, Memphis, San Deigo..............all these awesome places. There are a couple near me here in Hertfordshire UK so I am hoping to go on one :)
