This project has been quite an inspiration. Like many others have found its meant an upgrade to my kit... resulting in a brand new 650D ;)
That means I have my old camera, a Canon 400D, that I need to find a good home for. Rather than e-bay it I thought a fellow 365 member might have a use for it. If you are, or know, a budding young 365 photographer who could really benefit from the step up to a DSLR then drop me a line. I dont expect any cash for it but I do want it to go to a good home, preferably a 365er already posting.
Its a Canon 400D, 4Gb, with the kit lens. Its done me proud for many years, but time moves on!

wow james, i live in the uk and would be very interested in such a kind offer, im on a bridge at the moment and have just been talking to my parents about upgrading to slr as i've just joined a camera club for the first time @twocups

That's so generous! I've been looking to upgrade from my slightly out dated dslr as I'm getting into my porject but am on quite a low budget. I live near Manchester, would be willing to travel to pick it up if you live anywhere nearby! I am definitely interested but others have got here before me so they get priority first i suppose! but just incase my email is s.strachan539@gmail.com :)
@twocups Very nice of you, James. I hope you have found a nice home. Wish I were in the UK. Texas is a bit far away. I would love to upgrade from my bridge to a SLR...one day, I hope.
What an incredibly generous offer! I am looking to move from my bridge camera to a dslr as I am getting frustrated with the limitations of a bridge. My hubby has a Canon dslr and I would then be able to pinch some of his lenses!! (sorry, that should read "share") however, I see lots of folk have answered before me but, just in case, I live in Suffolk.

i have my first photoshoot planned with it for a friends band on 5th jan so i need to get playing and experimenting quickly with it. - i did some for them with my bridge earlier this month so it will be interesting to see the difference
