@Scrivna --- Ross, if you are considering adding features, would you consider a button to see a page similar to the popular page for just our own pictures? Random pictures from our project?
@dmortega (the programmer in me is coming out) So a PP format page within "your" project, picking and choosing "random" photos on some formula (would have to be smart enough to not repeat often), and might be an Ace membership feature(? not knowing Ross' schedule to program that). So on demand, you get a group flashback. Interesting idea.
No problems but it could speed things up a little if you have a larger thumbnail selection espesialy when you are looking for a certain photo! Or at another 365ers pics, Some accounts have quite a few pics to look at, it would be nice to be able to go right back and see there progression from the beginning instead of just skimming there latest.
maybe instead of going back a month at a time, have a drop down menu that allows selection of a specific month. It takes awhile to get to January from December under the current method. I do like @dmortega 's idea
@Scrivna I agree with Jeff on this. Either a drop down for the month, or a yearly look, similar to the monthly look. I often want to go back to a specific month and have to scroll back a month at a time. If one page showed all the months, it would be a great way to see an overall of a single photographer.
how about rather than a drop down menu, a calendar-type option which shows a random (changing each time you click on it) picture from each month of the project. Click on that month's picture and get all of the pictures from that month. This might get over the problem of the tiny picture size that a year in one view might present.
For what its worth you can navigate to any month via the browser address line.
Go to calendar view via the calendar icon. Change the last 2 digits of the address to the month that you want change eg; http://365project.org/monika64/365/2012-12 to http://365project.org/monika64/365/2012-03 and you will go straight from December to March (on mine),
much quicker than trying to scroll through months and months.
