Where do you buy a Danbo?

Okay, I guess I really need to get one of these, because they are beyond adorable. Plus, lots of great photo ops.

But...where are people getting them? I looked on Amazon, and the average price was $40. That seems like a lot for a 13 cm plastic toy. Is that just what it costs? Is there a site where you can purchase directly from the manufacturer?

I think you can only buy official ones from Amazon Japan, and they won't (or didn't) ship abroad. There are a few Japanese sellers on eBay who buy them to sell on. Mine came from one of these & yes it was more expensive than I was prepared to pay - which made it a great Xmas present last year. :)

I bought the small one off ebay yesterday for £22. The bigger one was about £35. The one with the 7 eleven patern was £190. No original unmarked one on ebay at the moment. Insane. Will buy the bigger one after pay day I think.
