I reckon at least 50% of the time i type shit instead of shot by accident!

Ba ha haaaaaa! Try seeing what happens when you comment from an iPhone w predictive text and you have really bad eyesight ;). Ooooooooh inevitably gets turned into pooh and I've done that a fair few times ;D
LMAO!! No-one has ever told me I have typed shit instead of shot, but as I have fingers the size of big fat farmhouse sausages, I must have!!! The funny thing is that the word shot is always prefaced with adjectives such as awesome, incredible, very creative, inspiring etc, so that makes it even funnier! Whoever invented the Qwerty keyboard must be smiling away to themself, after all, they put I and O adjacent to each other, and then put S, D and F in a line of 3!!!

Auto correct gets me all the time on the phone... but me an the squiggly little red line on my mac we go WAYYYY back ;)
I've never gone there with shot. My issue is dropping the 'h' and ending up with sot. Problem is, that's an actual word, so the misspell warning doesn't appear.
But if I type sh on my phone, it offers up SHOT. Luckily.
If your not shore that its write just get a spelling chequer -- I got won four my pea sea and eye don't half to wary about may king mist aches any moor.
What a great thread. . .and as several have mentioned, you really should go search for damnyouautocorrect.com. . .the top 25 are enough to make your sides ache for a week. ;->
