Quick question before I start uploading - how do you go about getting involved with Themes, etc. I have just been having a read of some of the old posts and wondered if they are daily, weekly, monthly or you just get involved as and when.
Sorry if this question has been asked and answered before...I have read so many different topics that they are merging into one now. Any replies will be very much appreciated.
Keep an eye on the right hand panel on your home page - this will list the various themes and challenges. Mostly they ask that you "tag" your images with a code (you get this option to tag when you upload using the normal upload function - not sure you get it when you email photos in). Thank you - really appreciate it! Feeling rather apprehensive after looking through some of the utterly amazing photos on here now...wow doesn't seem enough to describe some of them!
@kjentertainments Everybody's welcome - just dive in and do some commenting and people will comment back. And if you look at the beginning of the projects of some of the most amazing photographers here you will often find some shockers!
Ya gotta start somewhere KJ! We all did.... Personally, the only reason I haven't deleted my month of January 2012 is so I can remind myself how much I have learned over the course of the year... Welcome to 365 and enjoy!
Thank you all - what a lovely welcome. I have been interested in photography for quite a few years but was always a dabbler, didn't really take the "right" shot but after purchasing my first DSLR in June 2012, I haven't looked back :) I look forward to seeing all your pictures too!
@kjentertainments KJ, feeling apprehensive is a GOOD thing! It shows that you recognize good work from work that could be improved! We all started out that way, and Project365 has made ALL of us better photographers for it! Welcome!
@kjentertainments hehe kj All you have to do is enjoy yourself its up to you if you want to have a go or not no pressure if it takes your fancy why not have a punt this is my first year and I have found the most amazing friends and help and so many differant challenges and pics enjoy :-D
my coffee is not working this morning. So, if in the tag box I just put the name of a certain theme, it will post there? I don't have to put anything else, like the word "theme"?
