Have just being trying to add links to my photo descriptions using the "a href" coding. I've never had a problem before but for some reason it keeps adding 365project.org/mizikei20 to the front of all my coded links. Any ideas what's happening here Ross?
I'm a complete newb, so possibly there's something wrong with what I'm doing... (this is my first guess), but I'm unable to post images to discussions, I get an 'invalid data' box. Possibly completely unrelated to your problem and me being foolishly new...
@iqscotland Yeah I know, but I feel it looks neater if you just link certain words.
@spankyjane Where is the image you're trying to upload? If it's on here then if you go on your photo page in the sidebar there's a link to copy and paste to forums. It's a different problem, but one I *think* I know the answer to. Hope it works for you!
@mizikei20 I know what you mean but it might be as simple as those fields not accepting HTML tags at all. There's a list of accepted tags for posting in discussions but formatting isn't mentioned for descriptions or comments :)
@spankyjane i had that problem a few times before. what should work is make a post with just words, then press post reply, and then press edit to edit your post and paste the link. That worked for me in the past.
I've tried copying & pasting that code in the link box & it doesn't work. I've tried every combination I can think of & still get the response "invalid data". It's driving me crazy. .
