I saw this article regarding Legos, and since so many of us use them in our shots, I thought you might enjoy it. I was amazed and know why I will continue to buy them!!!
@socalgal Patty when I saw your shot, I knew I had to write this. When I read the story, I was so amazed by Legos response. I just didn't think it was fair to you to put the link on your gorgeous shot!!!
When my son was about 2, we bought some Duplo blocks that came with a video story about the blocks. He absolutely fell in love with the Monkey but it was no where to be found. We wrote to Lego/Duplo and explained the dilemma. They sent us a monkey at no charge!! Tomorrow is my son's 25th birthday and we still quote that story! They forever endeared themselves to me when they did that.
I adore Lego! My son and I sit down regularly and build our sets - I have the Harry Potter series and he's a die-hard Star Wars fan. Anytime we have bought a set with pieces that aren't included, they have always sent them out to us. They really know what customer service is all about!
I love Legos- my sons once had an entire city which spread across my kitchen floor! How I wish I'd saved more of it- but they went to a good home! I keep getting drawn to the Lego aisle at Walmart- but I remind myself that if I buy them my grandchildren should really be the reason, not 365! Haha! What a great story- thanks for posting it!
very cool story, my Husband actually asked Lego's for Christmas. He still build Lego's along with our Son age 15. My Husband told me He's always been into Lego's even when He was little. I thought about using the one He just build but end up not too, perhaps some other time. thanks for the sharing.
