To begin this thread here's my favourite from between these dates (taken on 23 October):
@jillpearce Na I don't mind. I normally wait until the end of the month so it ties up neatly; that's why I left it until tomorrow. Anyway here's my pic from 29 Oct:
This is my favourite. The pears from my tree took over my kitchen. I knew what I wanted but just couldn't get it, as seen from previous two shots. So I kept trying new ways. It took a long time but persistence paid off, as I can honestly say this is the image I had in my head and it was a combination anof luck and planning. It's not everyone cup of tea, but that was quite an achievement for me. It's my draft for a painting, which I can't do by the way!!
@vikdaddy It is a brilliant thread so thanks for starting it! I am sure everyone agrees as we get to see what each person feels is their favourite picture other than the ones chosen in the weekly top twenty, posters and theme competitions. Hope you forgive me and wont do it again. Do you want me to change the date if I can?
I love this one, because it made me realize that I learned a lot since I started this project. A few months ago, I would never have known, technically, how to do that:
Here is my favorite from the 28th. I just love how it highlights the colors of the season...even though it really doesn't do justice to how beautiful it looked to me.
This is my favorite because of the face in the waterdrop. If you can't see it there is a description on the photo's page, but I think it really stands out...
Well this is not my fav shot as it wasnt even taken this week but it was posted to mark the passing of my beloved Chameleon Wee Edd RIP my little man,So i have to choose him.My fav shot actually taken that week was the day after.

This is my Personal Fave shot for the week... mainly because I LOVE Dragons... plus I like the way the colors actually came out on this stone sculpture...

@miranda WOW - love it and would so love the painting ... I collect art for fun - impressionist mainly and this fits the bill nicely .... just write on it 'Monet' or "Vincent'
I went to Notre dame de Paris to pray and take a picture as a tribune to one of my best friend who died few years ago. This SOOC picture has to be my favorite of the week.
Well, I'm going to say this one, because I just couldn't believe that I was able to capture that explosion of light in my favorite color! The crystal kept moving and changing, so I just kept snapping. =)
Mine, because of the colors of the leaves and having a subject (always a good idea - lol) Ofcourse, personally my favis really my daughter's baby shot (of course!) but as that is a photo of a photo I can't count it here.
This one from the 26th is special to me because of what it symbolizes: that beauty can be found in the imperfect and broken. It may not be that great from a photographic point of view, but meaning is half the beauty of art and that's why it's one of my favorites.
