If you are an Apple user, I am not, the latest revamp of the Mac Book line is most interesting, particularly for photo buffs. Adobe climbed on board even!
Faster, smaller, lighter, getting close to the merging of the laptop and IOS mobile line, I think this really deserves a look, particularly if you Apple folks are in need of a speed and storage upgrade.
Of course not for me, and other Windows PC users, but Mac Book folks have been looking for a significant upgrade without having to go the (nasty for me, but then...) IOS mobile route.
y'well... i just invested in the iPhone7 (my 6 really DiD need replacing)... and one of my kid just got braces that i'm paying for... so a new laptop needs to wait another year (and really - my current laptop is doing just fine... knock on wood ;p)
I love my 12" retina Macbook I bought in June for travelling. Its been great as it is so light and the retina screen is very cool. Guess I don't need to upgrade just yet then!
@frankhymus bahaaaa! well - i'm actually inclined to suspect apple... in any event, i have cleared my caches and rebooted, and, touch wood, it's working now... ;p
@northy we are PC folks, but my daughter opted for the Macbook Air this year. We had so many issues until it ws about making sure updates are regularly done. She can't do a lot of stuff on her Air that she could on ours, but she can carry it around easily and she can do lightweight stuff. But it was the updates that literally shut the brand new thing down twice in the first week we got it. You probably know all this but ....
@darylo yeah... that might have been part of the issue as well... I had a number of things that needed updating... now done... I do love it though... it's a MacBook Pro and it's the only computer I use at home... not as light as the air, but still pretty portable :)
