OH boy hard choice.. I've improved so much this month that its hard to choose so will go with
and
and I could probably add another 4 or 5. Looking back to the first two weeks to the past two weeks I see a definite improvement in my technique and style
The month is not over yet but I doubt I will take a top shot today (as I'm at work and the weather is very grey). January was my first month in this project.
I think this is my favourite.
It's not my best shot but it is the one I put the most effort into and it turned out almost exactly as I had envisioned (and that doesn't happen to me very often).
I'm picking my Chimp pic as I'm still smarting no one else liked it LOL
I did love the harbour pic I did http://365project.org/araminta/365/2011-01-19
And I was surprised when I took a self portrait that I actually don't hate!

I had several favorites. This is my all time favorite for January because I worked and worked on this one. I moved the flower bouquet around. I changed my angle. I put the flower bouquet at various heights. etc. I finally got what I was looking for. I wanted the viewer to do a double take and wonder where the real bouquet and the painted bouquet ended and began. I also wanted to keep the real bouquet looking 3-D. In some of my shots, the real bouquet flattened out. I learned a lot from doing this shot.
This is my favourite picture of January, It marks 1 whole year of doing this project. My 1st picture was of cheese so thought it only fitting to have more cheese to mark the 1st anniversary :o)
my favourite pictures of january, well it's hard to pick. I know i love this one as i'm so proud of how it turned out.
and then i guess i'll have to say this one too because he's just so cute, and i know i'll never get another shot with him in this; as he'll run away the moment he realises what is happening lol
Followed very closely (literally!) by Span which was posted the next day in the same album. I think Ace members can have their additional albums overlooked at times so these are hidden gems.
I had a hard time choosing because I like all mine but there isn't anything that really stands out. But I think this one is my favorite because all I did with it was add some contrast and the sky is so blue against the wood and snow. I love it.
I have quite a few pictures I absolutely love this month and it was so hard to pick. This would probably be my favorite since I love buttons and jars and I love the shadow and the colors I did on it on PS.
I guess this would be my fave from January because it is completely outside the norm for me and I was just playing around and ended up with something cool.
I had more in my first month that I wasn't happy with than I did ones I liked but I sort of feel guilty about my choice for favorite. I keep thinking it should be one of the grandkids.
I guess it would be my latest picture. I wasn't really happy when I couldn't find a lot of barns but I love the reaction this one is getting so it has turned into a favorite for me.
defo the best...I was surprised how well it turned out, I have loads of others but didn't want to get in anyones way since they'd all paid ÂŁ250 and I was supposed to be working, so all the others are from the same kind of angle...doh.
I have to say that the following two pictures are my absolute favorites because the subjects are very near and dear to my heart. The first picture is of my daughter, sleeping, just hours after giving birth to our first grandchild. I love this picture because of the softness I see in it and the peace I feel when looking at it.
This second photo is a favorite because it is of my new granddaughter just a few hours after she was born. She is a real beauty and looks just like her mother did when she was a baby.
this one, because I've been trying so hard to get an eye shot... and b/c its handheld... and b/c I've been very thankful for my vision lately, as I had some problems with blurriness last month.
This one is my favorite, not because it is great or anything, but because I had an idea of what I wanted the photo to be and it came out that way. Which rarely happens to me!

but ill go with this one of my son :
and this one of one of my older sons :
@andifree That is such an interesting shot!
@flamez You have a very distinct style in your photos!
I love them all... but stepping outside the box (and outside my kids) i'd say i was happiest with the result of this one.
i have these..
And I love this one from one of my extra albums
@jo365 I'd be thrilled too! That photo gives sort of a techno feel!
I think this is my favourite.
It's not my best shot but it is the one I put the most effort into and it turned out almost exactly as I had envisioned (and that doesn't happen to me very often).
would love to add more, but i dont want to be greedy :)
@halkia I love how misty your photo looks. It makes the setting look more mysterious.
Because I tried something new for this one!
And another, because I tried to make people wonder what this was and it worked!
this is my fave so far
These three :P
I'm really kind of sad because not only is 7% of my album complete, but 7% of my year is gone, too. :(

Favorite portrait shot
And this one:
Here's the result
These are my favorites:
Everyone else liked this one though:
From my Plus One album:
From my "other" album:
I like the emotion of it and the voyeuristic quality.
and
It was a visual gag which I loved but not very many people seemed to react to.
But the one that seemed to get the most reaction was:
and this one
And this one because it was meant to cheer up a friend of mine and it did :)
These I think... I like to photograph people :)
and
Well done to everyone who has completed their first month!

And I LOVE this, from the 29th:
This is my favorite of someone else's:
That's a beautiful photo.
This one has the most views and most comments...
But I personally love this one...
I guess it would be my latest picture. I wasn't really happy when I couldn't find a lot of barns but I love the reaction this one is getting so it has turned into a favorite for me.
my wife's pictures :)
I was extremely happy with this photo. SOOC.
Some days feel blue and hazy...

I think this is probably my favorite one.
Goofball vs sweet baby
This second photo is a favorite because it is of my new granddaughter just a few hours after she was born. She is a real beauty and looks just like her mother did when she was a baby.
this is my favourite, but the awesome 365 judges thought another in the month was better! LOL
or this oneeeee

I'm still amazed at how that one came out, and I can't go without this one, it's so expressive:
the best moon picture I ever took
http://365project.org/pixelchix/365/2011-01-14 and one image below.
This is really simple but I still like it because of the way both the rose and the butterfly are so damaged.
this was such a good day. i'm glad i have a picture to remember it by.
And the sunset
and this one because I took it for a special person
The bonfire below was a total surprise. I didn't expect it to turn out so dramatic...
It was a simple object. I placed the "organic bracelet" on a black foot stool and took the shot. Sometimes, less is more...
Still working on the pix for a coffee table book - have to learn PS first to do them justice.
And...
and
I guess this one.
and
This one is my favorite Janurary shot of mine, and it was one of my most popular shots ever.
This one is my favorite.
This one is my favorite, not because it is great or anything, but because I had an idea of what I wanted the photo to be and it came out that way. Which rarely happens to me!
My favorite because it reminds me of the hope of spring.
@Omnomgreen Love te reflection. Very creative!
Probably this one because it was my first photo to really play around with the focus and editing.
And
Or maybe this...
