I thought we could have a thread where we all recommend to each other someone else that you are following that you think is worthy of following, or just checking out their photos (hope that makes sense, my sleep deprived brain isn't working well these days). Thought it would be a way to spread the love of 365. You can just give a link to them or say why or... well anything you want. and you dont have to be limited to just recommending one person, recommend as many as you want. So recommend away. :D
First up I'm going to recommend @mattyb (link to profile - http://365project.org/mattyb/365/2011-01-31)
I love seeing his latest photo but I also especially love those photos of his little boy and how he manages to fit in taking a photo a day with all that he does is just amazing.
I've got a fair few people im following, i adore all of their photos...
heres my list http://365project.org/sam_cr/following
but i have to say you need to check out these photos
My other halfs album...
randomly hes never been on the new faces page and is MIA at the moment cause hes away... but i'm (obviously) his biggest fan, yet i think theres valid reason for that! :)
I recently started following @xmichaelx704 because i happened upon one of his selfies on the "most recent" page. I like his style - Here are a couple that I really like:
He taught me everything I know, and he finds time to do this project even though he is an interior decorator/designer by day, and a pro sports photographer by night (for the newspaper.)
And my husband
He shoots with his iPhone 4, and I'm enjoying watching his creative process. (since he begun this project as a self-proclaimed photo novice) He has a good eye.
@paulcleveland@filo13 awwww!! Wow, thank you both so so much. I love this idea, I'm going to pick some folks to share, i have so many including the two of you!!
I have found so many great photographers on this site, just by sifting through who people follow. I like the idea of this thread. It will make it easier to find some more amazing people. These are some of the people I have found but by no means all of the amazing people I follow. I don't want to create a huge post (which this probably is anyway!) so apologies to those I didn't get in this post. Some of the other people have already been mentioned.
I have many (and finding more each day - some through this very thread!), so here's the current list: http://365project.org/jesase/following
Just because images are fun, I'll share 3 quick examples (in no way reflecting 'top' favorites! I could never, ever rank them! They're all so unique and different and lovely in their ways):
Absolutely incredible photos, especially the umbrella series: @filo
@aipassa Love love this shot, and tons others from her
@pocketmouse ALL her photos are insane. The tone is something I strive for...haven't quite gotten yet. So amazing
@nellycious tells a story with every photo. Such wonderful light and composition in his entire album and the photos of his wife are stunning.
@kiwx Every damn one of her photos- every. one. I think I've faved all 28 of them, seriously.
You want straight up great sooc photography?? @girlincamo is your girl. Amazing creativity and shots. She turns the simplest things into magic. And it's all from her camera, not from photoshop.
oh and lest we forget the incredible Jaydee @gavincci and his absolutely mind bogglingly stunning selfies. One day I will be as good as he is at photoshop...one day.
The only way to go is recommend all the people who I follow.. You asked for it:
Manuela is really really good. And thanks to her,I found this website ( @ireth )
Carole could photograph the same thing over and over and the shots would still be unique! ( @redfl83 )
Stephen is a supercool artist.They say a photo speaks a thousand words.Well,some of his work speaks a million words! ( @ssmiley6017 )
Miranda has a lot of fascinating photos, you need to check out her Guatemalan shots! ..and her abstract experimental photos (that she made with her point&shoot camera) are also really cool! ( @miranda )
I love vintage-looking photos, but with some people,it`s allways the same dull effect,it gets boring. That`s not the case with Lacey, she allways pulls it off! And her portrait shots are wow ( @laceyjogautreau )
Ady is a guy a discovered by accident, and I was amazed how allmost none of his photos had any views/comments.He became so dedicated and maybe too obsessed of becoming a better photographer, that he needed a break.I think his job is also keeping him busy. He`s active again, and even if he`ll upload a photo per month,I`ll follow him! ( @adysmiles )
Michelle`s really good at bird-shots,but if you check her albums out, you`ll see she has a great variety of stunning photos! ( @artistmichelle )
Jennifer has some amasing shots, and most of her photos are just so .. warm and "happy"! ( @wellbride )
Jaydee,well...he`s got style,he`s got humour,he`s a pro at post-processing..He`s supercool! ( @gavincci )
Jinx- a superhero,professional photographer AND a Star Wars fan.What else do you need? ( @jinximages )
Nathalie-the queen of water-droplet photographs.Oh,let me rephrase- the queen of macro ! ( @niara )
I only started to follow Teresa recently. She`s such a good photographer, most of her shots are so simplet, yet so amazing! ( @pocketmouse )
I don't have the luxury of time to sit and profess my adoration for probably hundreds of photographers here, HOWEVER, I have to mention these people:
Martina is such an inspiration - she makes everything just so beautiful
Another talent from Italy - Anastasia's stuff is so unique and just incredible
Brenda is SUCH an amazing photographer - her work always makes me smile
Absolutely love seeing the world through Marie's eyes
And lastly, I have to mention Laura - so much emotion ignited through her stuff
Of course, at risk of sounding like a brownnoser, I think a lot of people bring their own thing to 365 and that was just a brief scan over those I follow. They're all pretty darn great though :)
@chevymom@foursides I enjoy seeing your newest creation when I log in. You are both talented people and worthy of a mention. It's the least I can do for the inspiration you and others give me.
I wanted to sneak in more of my favorites. I cannot possible include everyone and I want to let others select some too! None of this post or my previous are in any particular order.
@aprilrss I just started following her and she has two pics on the popular page, so I'm sure she will get even more followers very soon.
@all71s and your reply is so much inspiring!
I'm loving to be at this site! Polite people. Inspiring. And a really photo-loving community!!! More power 365!!!
@blackdogs She puts a face to all the dogs/ puppies that need homes and without her help would be put down by shelters just because of lack of space.
@aes981 I love her pictures they are always fun, may it be her adorable sons or things she finds around her house, her pictures always make me smile.
@amorton1437 She recommended me, but that's not the reason I'm recommending her. She takes great pictures and I always enjoy seeing them. I've been a fan of her pictures well before 365 :)
There are soooo many....but I'm surprised I didn't see these two here yet. I have to post them both - they're sort of a package deal :) You could pick any random photo of either of their's and KNOW it's going to be good! (proof - these are their latest) @aikiuser@pixelchix
Honestly, if you just look at everyone I'm following, they are all amazing!! If I could, I'd choose one from each person I'm following, just because they are all inspiring!
To select a few (and not take up the entire page)
Definitely @bella_ss....she has BEAUTIFUL macros!
@keithdavid-- He comes up with the coolest ideas for photos!
@plp--One of the people who inspired me to join this project!
And of course @flamez--Just check out her work, you will not be disappointed!
@coolgirlsar Wow.....what a way to wake up this morning. I am beyond flattered that you thought about me when starting this thread. It is so difficult to choose who to follow because there are over 100 that I follow that I think are amazing in their own way.
However, since I have to choose here are a few: @amyhughes @maceugenio Always has great portraits like this one below:
(@daliadestructo Doesn't post everyday, but when she does they are fantastic. @selardore @froirivera @wahyusp
This was unfair. There are so many good ones. I had a lot of trouble. I know I forgot people.
first, i gotta give it up to the person who got me started....Stephanie has been blowing me away with her new Dambo and Mini Danbo inspiration. Here is my favorite from her collection...
deb mayne....OMG her work is extraordinary. the thumbnails don't do it justice. take the time to go through her photos here are two just to give you a taste.
@filo13 thanks so much!! I am a big fan of your work as well!!
There are so many people that I follow that I am just in awe of their work.
I have one person that I came across that doesn't have many followers, but his portraits are awesome @jaydramos
Another one that I really like is @ivy_box She hasn't posted in a few days, hopefully she will come back soon.
Another person that I have been following is super creative. He has a wide variety of photos. Here is one of my favorites. @princejoji
@robinwarner seriously I was feeling like the girl standing by the wall at the dance, all alone. but then, you asked me to dance and made me smile. you are the best.
@jupiterjanes - Thanking you so much Sarah... I do feel truly humbled by my inclusion amongst the work here. This thread is inspiring to view, there are so many wonderful and powerful images here. I'm touched.
This was way too hard. There are so many brilliant and individual photographers on here. PLEASE take a look at my favs and you can see the ones I have favved the most. If they are not here it maybe because they have already appeared a few times. Bearing in mind that this should also showcase newbies, here's my list - click through to find out who they are.
Graham does the most gorgeous landscapes in the UK and has other albums of overseas trips.
Tamara Lara, who has some of the most soulful portraits.
Franci: A newbie but another one with soul
Denh Lay: Just breathless shots
Carol Neesam does the most lovely, soft coloured sea and beach scapes:
I also love Pixelchix, Aikuser (I have by far favved their shots more than anyones), Mixiewings, Juliette Packhard, Andy C, Amberwings, Lacy Kent, Lux ....and so many others.
I would have to say that my favorite photographer is my best friend. Im not just saying that cause he's my best friend, he's truly brilliant :) I got him into photography about 7 or so months ago and Im teaching him everything I know about photography. He's a natural.
@lauracaseyfoss i dont generally come in here to much so happened upon this one by chance. Thankyou so much, ive been really struggling this week and this has given me a much needed kick in the tail to get inspired again! Thank you! I also really enjoy your photos!
I have to say @snowysal is going great guns and starting to pull out some fabulous shots
These next three I am completely biased about. The four of us started out this project together and it's a great inspiration doing this with them.
First up is Rache @flamez, this is one of my all time favourite photos ever and Rache has such fantastic imgination and execution of those ideas she has.
Then there is Lisa @lisahutchinson, who amazes me with her what she calls "last minute photos", she is one of the kindest people I know and I wish she had more faith in her photography as it's fantastic.
And then there is Kirsty @kirsty1975 who always strives for the best.
now checking out sarahs work is a deffinate must do :) , as shes already mentioned we started this project together the 4 of us , we all live in different parts of the uk but have all help each other along the way and its been fab so far :)
anyhow this photo of sarahs is quite possibly one of the best water shots ive seen , callums eyes are so intense :
Apologies to Emma for not having included her within my initial list. I love this beautiful photograph of her son and his gorgeous eyes. Sorry Emma for the oversight and hope I'm forgiven
http://365project.org/echosinger/365/2011-01 This young lady has some amazing photos. At 14 she has an amazing eye, I can just imagine the amazing things she is going to capture in the future @echosinger
I'm pretty sure Yoella has the ability to just point her camera at anything and make it special. This is one of my favs from her, but her street scenes and eye for human behavior are intriguing to me @yoelao
she hasn't posted for a while, but this young lady is ridiculously talented, and I always look forward to her photos. they are creative, rife with interest, and fantastic. @aliciapragastis
Alison is SUPER creative, fun, and talented, as well as kind and encouraging. she has such a fresh perspective. she is also my 365 buddy. @alisongbradshaw
Arnel was one of the first photographers on here that made me go "WOWWWWW". I know I have showcased this photo of his before (and all of them are amazing, trust me), but this one is so striking to me; I immediately loved the photo/subject when I saw it. @nellycious
um..need I say more? no, but I will. all of her photos are rich with meaning and emotion. they blow me away. @becsviveash
again with the magic. Jennifer's love for her family combined with her talent makes for some of the most enjoyable photos on 365. (had to pick the most recent one, because your girl reminds me of my spunky little lady.) @filo13
@pfmandeville@laceyjogautreau Aw, thanks so much you two! You made my day! Sooo many incredibly talented photographers here...when I'm back at my computer I'll add to this list.
@9gpie has a fabulous eye. I mean, just look at these ~
I just like how his brain works.
@tnamari has the most creative mind. Take a look ~
Those are two of the people I follow. Feel free to look at the rest on my page because if I don't stop now, I'll add all of them - they are all so talented. Hope you enjoyed and found someone new to watch.
Hi everyone. there are many people that i am inspired by in this community, but I thought I'd blow the trumpet of Amy Rodriguez (@famousamos)... Her images are generally beautifully simple, but incredibly emotive and ALWAYs stunning.
II follow many and I would like to follow more if I could. Many of them are great. Roberta @robertagiusti does not post regularly but I love her pictures and . This one is stunning.

@amyhughes@laceyjogautreau
thank you for including me on your lists...to find out that i inspire two amazingly talented photographers is a really huge thing for me... :)
I'm pretty biased, I know, but you might want to check out my 7 year old grandson. He's been on for nearly a month. It's pretty interesting to see the world from the perspective of a 7 year old. He's learning some editing techniques and asking for a new camera for his birthday!
