How do I make a Calendar?

December 2nd, 2019
I have seen so many lovely calendars on this site, that I actually wanted to use my Fun November shots to make one. I have given up as I have no idea how to go about it. Can anyone please advise me as how to do it? Thanks in advance :-)

You could take a screen shot on your phone of the album month, or I would use the snipping tool on my laptop (type snipping in the bottom toolbar search and it will come up) or you could use the collage maker at befunky. Then if you so wish paint out the other months numbers to neaten it if they annoy you!

@suzanne234 Thanks so much Suzanne, the first option is the easiest and I was considering it. I was just hoping there would be an easier and quicker way that I could handle. Never used a snipping tool before, so I will give it a miss :-)

@ludwigsdiana The phone option is certainly the easiest Diana, just crop out anything you don't want later. I have windows 10 and the snipping tool is kind of their screen shot, only you drag the cursor where you want to copy. I mentioned befunky which is fab for making collages but I later took a peek and they only have 6 images wide unless you subscribe so this wouldn't have worked anyway! Your November month looks fab by the way, a Diana version of rainbow month!

I always do it by taking a screen shot then bringing it into PS and playing with it a little

@ludwigsdiana Diana, here is one that someone told me in the past and it worked. I haven't done it in awhile so I'm not sure these directions are right but hopefully it will work for you.

Click print screen on the monthly page on 365 project.

Open up paint program and post as new image.

Crop and save.

Go to One Drive, click on Music Picture, right click and save where you want to save it.

It's not making much sense to me right now since I haven't done it in awhile. Maybe someone else can clarify it more.

I posted this on the photo where you asked me, but it was on one of my extra calendars. I think I learned this from rainbow month. Every device and computer and photo editing tool will be different. I’ll tell you what I do and then we can see if you need an alternative way to do a step. I use my iPad for this.
1. Select “View this Month” and then take a screenshot. That goes to my photos library.
2. In Touch/Retouch (an App) I remove the numbers that are on the empty squares.
3. In SnapSeed (an App) I use a free crop to trim to the edges of the calendar.
4. In the Photos App (since I don’t use a fancy font) I type in the month and year.
This can be done on whatever device and whatever tools you use, we just need to find the translation.
And you do have a beautiful November to work with.

@suzanne234 @koalagardens @mittens @shutterbug49 Many thanks everyone for all the tips. I have quite a few options to try out now. I was thinking of using one of my albums and making a calendar each month starting in January. Hard to believe, but I will be starting my 4th year soon :-)

@ludwigsdiana
I did a calendar shot of my Dec. photos today.
Hopefully this can help you.

I brought up the calendar on 365.
I had to reduce it a little for all the pictures to fit the screen.
I hit the print screen button on my keyboard.
It saved it in the One Drive
I went to One Drive, clicked on music, found the picture
and copied and saved it to the folder I wanted it in.
I then could edit it from there.
