@shadesofgrey I agree haha! I feel more validated being selected by judges than winning a popularity contest too. The ipad would've been nice but, lets not get greedy :)
@semrants awww there will be a new version of the iPad out soon and then you will have an outdated "old" version and all the cool new stuff will be for the new one anyway. It would be a fun toy, I will grant you that, but the camera is going to be way more useful and longer lasting. And I agree about the validation, prizes are the icing on the cake!

I actually did end up winning the iPad too because I received the most votes out of the 5 winners (rules were very confusing) so an added bonus!!!
I am actually giving away the camera to one of my friends....entering 4 of them in a draw. I really like my Canon and plan on buying glass for it so I thought I would pay my new found passion forward to a few people who would love to have such a wonderful piece of equipment and they all helped me get votes to win!
at least its to do with photos and not having a baby or the neghibour died or something cant believe what gets put on here sometimes...congrats well done
