Also, I'm not sure which is correct but I've read that it'd begin at 6pm in each timezone, so obviously that's out because it's past that in Australasia, however, the other said it's expected when it's 6pm in Washington, so we'll see :p

it was supposed to rain today, so i was planning on staying home and organizing all of our stocked up canned goods and guns/weapons for "the zombie apocalypse" aka the rapture, but instead it's quite lovely, so i'll probably just go about my life,

I'm from the U.S. and I hate the fact that some nut job here said that today is the last day on earth. He should be ashamed to be an American! hahaha But seriously, I didn't hear about all of this until a week ago, wouldn't we have heard of the world ending like a longgggggg time ago? lmfao xD

I've seen a guy sitting on the curb with a sign about this day, for months! There are billboards about it, too! I was wondering WTH? Never made any effort to find out. Glad I didn't bother. Thought it was just one strange person or organization in my California city, but now I find out there are more who believe this! To each their own. I'm sure we will be here tomorrow.
I realised as I took this photo that "it" had happened 30minutes previously (as I noticed the time on the lighthouse clock). It may have explained how it was so quiet around Roath Lake this evening!

I have friends that have been so scared of this that they have had panic attacks. It bothers me that someone thinks they can predict the end of the world. It's all over the news and it's on so many billboards, buses, and benches. Although its a good reminder to make every second count.....still, only God knows when we're going. I'm LOVING the shots I'm seeing on here about it though! :)
@nikkers What makes me really sad is that a lot of those people have traumatized their children into believing that they were going to die today. That's just child abuse and cult stupidity in my opinion.
my brother told me about this weeks ago. I looked it up online and found that the guy was saying that the rapture would happen at 6pm local time anywhere in the world... meaning Aussie's, you'd be the first to go. And us Americans being the last.
As a Christian myself, I find that this man is full of malarkey and makes us Christians look bad (though most did not and do not agree with his "prophecy").
Anyway, I still have 45 minutes before it's 6pm here. LOL!

The worst part, I read somewhere people in America had been giving their stuff away! Please tell me no 365ers did that! lol
I am a christian & did not believe one word this US evangelist said. If he was a bible believing christian he would know that no one can predict this. Didn't Jesus himself say "the son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him"?

I know that in the US, we have freedom of speech...and maybe the guy really did believe in it...but i feel like predicting the end of the world is like yelling 'fire' in a crowded room...anyone else agree? there were so many people so scared about this!
