Very nice shot! Can't say I've done anything too crazy for my project yet...Other than the usual laying in grass, standing out in the rain. Although there have been some pictures I've done while driving...does that count as crazy?
Not too many crazy things. I do lay on the railroad tracks at one of my favorite locations. The last time I was there a couple stopped to see if I was okay. I think they thought I might be trying to kill myself.
This one I got after sitting by a window for like 2 hours straight just hitting the button over and over until I finally got a few shots. I was so excited.
crossed a busy street, ran over the railroad tracks, got yelled at by a worker that said to stay off the tracks (the train did come), and then hung around in the graffiti tunnels where, nearby, there were who-knows-who people living, hanging, and doing their thing - luckily we didn't run into them.
April 15th I was walking around campus looking for photos - not looking where I was going. I ran right into the corner of a cement bench. My leg swelled up and bruised ugly. The bruising is gone, but I still have a hard knot on my leg over a month later. Not a major injury, but after the initial pain subsided I was most concerned with my camera and did I get the photo I wanted.
I vowed I would start watching where I was going when taking photos. It didn't last long.
OMG the answer to that question has to taking a 5 year old and 3 year old and some expensive camera equipment climbing around on these sharp and steep (and somehow slippery at the same time) volcanic rocks to get around in front of this waterfall. And also to find out that the tide had come in while wee were out there.
I took this while driving through the Dartford Tunnel (in London - British 365 people will know where I mean!) very late at night. I think it was almost midnight, and I was travelling at 50mph, hanging my Nikon out of the driver's side window with one hand, and steering with the other.
I did manage not to drop the camera - which is very lucky, as it doesn't have any strap/harness type of thing!
I haven't done anything dangerous for my photography... just the occasional balancing act and it's not uncommon for me to end up dirtier than a toddler from me lying on the ground.
I guess this would be my most dangerous:
I was in my figure skating clothes, standing on a narrow log, surrounded by I don't know how deep dirty water, and several feet from solid ground.
Getting up way too early, perching on the side of a steep hillside, alone in the dark waiting for the sun to come up. Then afterwards when leaving, running into a homeless man, on the adjacent lot and chatting with him politely while trying to back away from the nearby cliff. Thankfully he was harmless and I got my shot.

For me, holding a tiny point and shoot to the side and hoping I got a decent shot, whilst on an open empty road in France... not so dangerous.
@indiannie_jones Lol.. nice
@chevymom Crazy enough, got be at least a LITTLE safe ;]
@eyebrows Nice
which was taken hanging off the edge of a cliff in gale force 12 winds. in fact during good sea storms it is quite a regular pastime
:)

And this was right before the cow started chasing me:
Note: No children were harmed in the taking of this photograph. Well, unless you count getting very wet as harmed, then yes, they were harmed a lot.
I did nothing dangerous in this shot of my OH, except risk retaliation and a snowball fight. And it happened. Worth it tho!

Thank god for camera straps is all I'll say
Whilst this shot was OK the next few were as the jet force of the planes props basted us backwards - i didn't managed to capture takeoff!
