A recipe for getting back to happiness:
1. Everything looks better in the morning...so try to get a good night's sleep.
2. Take a deeeeeeep breath.
3. Buy yourself some pretty flowers.
4. Lean on your friends and follow the signs (the signs that point to what's really important).
5. Finally, notice the beauty around you.
Medicare was started in 1964 or '65 and it's for the elderly. It has been extremely successful and important. It is on the table to be cut and along with Social Security, which has also been around a long time and is vital. No, those things should not be cut.
This won't be a photo, rather a thought==Happiness is dependent on happenings. Which change continually. Good ones, bad ones, and some (ho-hum_ What we should really strive for is JOY, a JOY that comes from within. A fixed inner contentment with ourselves. Actually we do have a choice whenever we wake up. We can decide if we want to be miserable or joyous, negitive or positive. We can decide if we want (happenings) rule our day or not. If more of society would look for the positive, beauty, and wonderful things that this world has to offer we would be much better off. We so often look at what someone did to us not what can we do for someone in a positive act. I have felt for a long time that if I could cause someone to laugh any given day, it was a good day. Some that read this will think it is corny, but I don't care because I know that I look for the someone that will have a positive difference in their life because of it.
Joy from an inner peace is a positive thing, and (happenings) won't bother us so much.=============== enough said, now I am ging to find a picture to take
Yesterday, I caught my hubby getting ready to sit in the sprinkler in our backyard, alone without the kids! He ended up playing in it for me so I could get some goofy shots. He also later, invited the kids. It was so fun!
On another note, I was going to make a thread JUST LIKE THIS TODAY! Thanks for doing it for me!

Here are a couple quotes from my good friend, Winnie the Pooh.
“Sometimes, if you stand on the bottom rail of a bridge and lean over to watch the river slipping slowly away beneath you, you will suddenly know everything there is to be known.”
“When late morning rolls around and you're feeling a bit out of sorts, don't worry; you're probably just a little eleven o'clockish.”
I hope your day is lightening up, sending love from small-town Canada. ♥
@kittykaija I am in love with winnie the pooh and these quotes you've passed along. thank so much for the reminder that a children's book is as far you need to look for wisdom. :)

A few of my favorite Pooh quotes:
Piglet:
"How do you spell 'love'?"
Pooh:
"You don't spell it...you feel it."
"If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day so I never have to live without you."
"Some people care too much. I think it's called love."
