I was new to this challenge in the last round, and for those who are unaware what it's all about I think the host of that round @mikegifford did a great job of summarising it as follows:
The What Would You Do (WWYD) Challenge is about taking an image and adding a touch of your own style and creativity, and pushing yourself to possibly learn some new editing skills! There are no rules as such - edit the image any way you like - by changing exposure, crop, or colour balance, or use an editing program to add, delete or alter anything you wish to improve (or just change) the image, and perhaps as mentioned, learn or use some new post-editing techniques (layers, image extraction, blending, etc.)!
How to enter:
- Save the original photo to your computer and edit it any way you'd like.
- I've saved large .jpg and .CR2 versions here.
- To enter your edit into the competition it must be uploaded into one of your albums and tagged with “WWYD76”.
- You can also post your edit in this discussion thread if you want to - to do this, go to your photo, copy the "share" code to the right, and paste it here.
- Multiple entries are fine.
- if you have any questions about any parts of the process, just ask away in this thread! :)
- The contest starts now and ends Monday 25th February @ 11:59pm GMT. Finalists will then be announced and voting will commence shortly thereafter.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do with the photo!
There has been a bit of a discussion about how much of the original image ends up in the final entry, which can be found here. My view is that anything goes! It was seeing the entry from @onyx in the last round that made me have a go at doing something similar...and I'm glad I did as I stretched myself and learnt a lot. Still a long way to go though!
By the way, thanks to everyone who voted for me in the last round...it was actually @onyx who won but since he's too busy I'm happy to keep the ball rolling ;)
Leonie, if you click on the "How can I format my reply?" you will see the HTML tag for linking to a photo from another site, such as one on Flickr, Photobucket etc. It is the second one on the list that starts "img src"
@grizzlysghost - love you Mordor edit Aaron! I'm assuming that this one's also just for fun though since it's not on 365?
@mdfphoto - hi Matt - not sure if you want yours included in the comp or not as it looks like it was originally in your 365 project but then replaced with another shot? It should be in your project and tagged to count.

How did you do that without putting it into an album???
Course it won't count if it isn't tagged:)
Still intrigued on how you got it there you clever thing!!
@onie
Thanks Jase...I was starting to think Aaron had special powers!!
Man eating monsters!
